What it does
First EU law on algorithmic management at work. Digital labour platforms may not use automated systems to process emotional, psychological or certain other personal data of platform workers, must be transparent about automated monitoring and decision systems, and must ensure human oversight and human review of significant decisions. It also creates a rebuttable presumption of employment.
